About Me

I’ve been a runner since 2010, although running was something I’d always been pretty good at growing up.

It properly started when my mum asked if I fancied running the Silverstone Half Marathon with her. I said yes, ran 1:39 and completely caught the running bug.

From there, I started training on my own. I had no coach and, if I’m honest, not a huge amount of knowledge about what I was doing. But I loved seeing what I was capable of. Eventually I got my 5K time down to around 17 minutes and was spotted by a coach from Cheltenham Harriers.

That changed everything.

For the first time I was training with structure and purpose, and surrounded by people who knew how to get the best out of me. Over the next few years I progressed further than I ever imagined, eventually running 30:03 for 10K in 2017, 14:34 for 5K and 1 hr 09 for a Half Marathon.

I’ve dealt with my fair share of injuries and learned, sometimes the hard way, that becoming a better runner isn’t just about running harder or doing more.

These days, I love combining running with strength training and simply feeling fit, strong and capable.

That experience is a big part of why I wanted to start coaching.

I want to help people avoid some of the mistakes I made, train with more purpose and build a healthier relationship with running. Whether your goal is a PB, your first race, getting back into running or simply being able to run and genuinely enjoy it, I want to help you discover what you’re capable of.

Because you don’t have to be an elite runner to achieve something that feels extraordinary to you.
